What does it mean to be part of the pta?

Being a PTA member means you're investing in the Highcroft community and helping make our school an even better place for every student, teacher, and staff member.

Membership does not require you to volunteer, attend meetings, or take on a leadership role. It simply means you're supporting the programs, events, teacher appreciation, student enrichment, and school improvements that make a difference throughout the year.

Of course, if you'd like to get more involved, we'd love to have you! Whether you have an hour to spare, want to help at an event, or are interested in serving on a committee, there are opportunities for every schedule and level of involvement.

No matter how you choose to participate, your membership matters. Together, we can make a lasting impact for our Highcroft Huskies.

Become a Member: You pay a fee for your membership and have a vote on PTA general membership initiatives and in PTA elections. You can attend general membership meetings. And your fee is used to fund the dozens of PTA-sponsored programs and events at Highcroft.

Volunteer: If you've got a little or a lot of time, you can sign up to volunteer. As the year goes by, you'll find volunteer opportunities posted in our weekly newsletter, on this website, and on flyers that go home with your student(s). When you volunteer, you help make events and programs happen -- whether you've got 30 minutes or 30 hours to give!

Serve as a Chair: If you do have a bit of time to dedicate to the PTA and you're interested in a leadership role, we have open chair positions for various events and programs. Being a chair means you help shape the project you're leading, with the support of the Board of Directors and our Highcroft family. Whether you've been in the PTA for a decade or you're just starting out, serving as a chair lets you make an impact.
