PTA Reflections Program

The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. It offers students opportunities to express themselves creatively in six different art categories and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme.

 

This year's theme is: “Accepting Imperfection”

Students may choose one or all of the available art categories:

If your child plans to participate in the Reflections contest, the intent form must be filled out online. This helps us determine how many judges are required based on the number of interests.

 

**IMPORTANT** 

Students may enter as many pieces as they would like in one or all art categories. Students will need to submit a Student Participation Form for EVERY piece they submit for judging. Please make sure to read the General Participation Rules and the Art Specific Rules.

Please read the following instructions carefully before you fill out the HDE Student Participation Form 

 

Step 1: Please make sure you are signed into parent's personal gmail or are using parent's personal email (no work emails, or student school emails please) when completing this form. Parent & Student to complete form together (including uploading artwork).

 

Step 2: On the last page, before submitting, you will be prompted to right click and print the page. Please have the Parent/Guardian print and sign this page.

 

Step 3: Turn a scanned copy of the parent-signed page & your digital artwork in to your Reflections Chair's email highcroftdriveptareflections@gmail.com 

 

REQUIRED: parent signature needed for acceptance of submission.

 

This link is ONLY valid for Highcroft Drive Elementary.  Please do not use this link to submit artwork for any other schools.

 

All the artwork must be submitted by October 18th no later than 11:59pm.

Reflections Theme Search Competition 

Choose a Theme for the 2026-2027 Reflections Program! Help the National PTA pick the theme idea that will spark fun and creativity during the 2026—2027 Reflections program! The student who submits the winning entry will receive $100 prize from National PTA.

Contest club

This year, Mrs. Imani is hosting a "Reflections Contest Club." This club is for students interested in submitting fine art for Reflections but who don't have art supplies at home. Dates for the club are: 

  • September 19
  • September 26 
  • October 10
