HOW TO REGISTER FOR HUSKIES ON THE RUN:
Families must be PTA members for their children to participate, but there is no other cost for Huskies on the Run. Click here to join the PTA: https://highcroftdrivepta.membershiptoolkit.com/story/56980
If your student was already registered with Huskies on the Run in the fall, you DO NOT have to Re-Register for the spring.
If your student will be NEW to Huskies on the Run this spring, then you will need to sign up your student for a new registration. Register your runner here. Please make sure to sign-up by Wednesday March 12 to ensure that your student receives an official QR code/card.
How does it work?
Students report to the track at 8:00 am and pick up their index card from a parent volunteer. Warm ups start shortly before 8:15 am. At the end of each lap, a volunteer marks the card. When the bell rings at 8:45 am, students turn their cards back in to a volunteer and report to their classrooms. Rewards for distance covered will be sent to classrooms the following week!
What are the rules?
-
Each student must be escorted to the track by a guardian for check in.
-
Students must keep moving the entire time.
-
Students can not leave the track area.
-
Students can not enter the building without a volunteer.
-
Students can not use the playground equipment.
-
All participants must have a signed permission slip on file and Certificate of Accident Insurance.
-
Only participants need to fill out the Certificate of Accident Insurance. (All of this is apart of the online registration.)
