Bus Loop Grounds Fundraising

All of our students at Highcroft Drive Elementary use the bus loop area for PE 2, when weather permits. And for years, PE 2 has been engulfed in sand storms on windy days. 

To combat this, Mr. Karges and the HDE PTA are working with landscapers to make some improvements. 

• We're going to add mulch in many areas, including at the base of the trees in that section.
• We'll also cut back some of the trees to allow more sun to reach this area.
• Professional landscapers will install sod and follow up with watering and maintenance while the grass gets established.

The estimated cost is over $8000 for this project that will impact all of our students. 

Fundraising opportunity

We're partnering with Dave & Buster's to raise funds for this project. The good news is, there's a lot of FUN in it for you and your crew! 

• You purchase a Dave & Buster's Power Card for $20. 
• 50% of that total is donated back to the PTA. 
• You (or the youngsters in your life) get to pick up your Power Card and play at any Dave & Buster's location! 

Thank you for your support! And feel free to share the fundraiser with ANYONE -- they don't need to be at HDES to purchase Power Cards since they'll pick them up at their own Dave & Busters! And they make GREAT stocking stuffers!
