Volunteers Power Our PTA!

Volunteer with the PTA

Throughout the school year, your HDES PTA has many opportunities to volunteer and support the work we do for our kids and staff.

PTA volunteers are the power behind all of our programs. From organizing food drive items on the Nourishing Noggins shelves to putting together raffle baskets to donating food for staff and teacher appreciation, PTA volunteers do it all! We have opportunities to fit all interests with a variety of time commitments. Some opportunities are during school hours, but many can be done on your own time.

If you really want to dig into your role as a PTA volunteer, consider a position as a Chair or on the Board! Learn more about those positions HERE.

HOW TO SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER WITH THE PTA

You can sign up to volunteer with the PTA via the Membership Toolkit account.

Users will first be prompted to sign in to their MemberHub account or open a new account to access the PTA website.

  • Click HERE to create your free account.
  • Once you access or create your Membership Toolkit account, click the Sign-Up to Volunteer button below to add your name to the General Volunteers List by filling out the General Volunteer form.
  • On the General Volunteer form, users can provide basic contact information, their availability, any unique skill sets they may have, and can specify programs that interest them. This is not a specific commitment to volunteering – just a way for PTA to announce current opportunities to volunteer at the school and to connect you with specific volunteer opportunities that interest you.
  • As opportunities come up, you will be sent an email notification so you can jump in and help as you wish. We also post volunteer opportunities in our newsletter and on social media (Instagram, Facebook)
