The Highcroft Drive Elementary PTA brings parents, teachers, and administrators together to empower our students and help every child reach their potential. When you join the HDE PTA, you become a vital part of a partnership that encourages student achievement, enriches the learning environment, and works to improve our school and community.

To serve all of our students, we want to have every family represented on the PTA. Consider your membership options below, and select the one that works for you.

Individual Membership -- $15 (1 member, 1 vote)

Dual Membership -- $25 (2 members, 2 votes)

Staff Membership -- $7 (1 member, 1 vote)

Letter from the President

August 28, 2023

Dear Highcroft Family, 

On behalf of the 2023-2024 Highcroft Drive Elementary PTA Board and Chairs, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families!

I’ve served on the PTA board for the past 4 years and I am so excited and looking forward to serve as PTA President this year. I work with an equally passionate and diverse board and chairs who aim to bring even more to our HDE community. 

Our PTA vision this year is to provide family-fun events, still support our classroom needs, and enhance student resources with PTA sponsored clubs and assemblies. We will continue to provide resiliency training to our students with the PTA sponsored character education program which will be supplemented with our soon to come KIND STARS program. 

As you know the PTA plays a vital role in advocating for ALL students at HDE by providing educational, nutritional, and inclusive programs that go beyond what the Wake County Public School System provides. 

Your PTA membership and donation also allow the PTA to provide resources and educational enrichment programs that our students and staff otherwise would not have, especially in the current fiscal environment with state budget cuts and decrease funding for public schools. 

Membership does not bind you to volunteer your time, but kindly remember our children are at school for about the same amount of time they are at home during wakeful hours, if not more. Let’s help make their school environment one which helps them thrive. How amazing would it be if we ALL joined this year? We need you!
