Student Art Show
Highcroft PTA is excited to introduce something new at this year’s Spring Carnival… a Student Art Show! To match our Under the Sea carnival theme, this year’s art show will highlight creative works inspired by the magic and mystery of the ocean.
We invite all students to participate by submitting an original piece in one of the following categories:
- Visual Art (drawing, painting, mixed media, etc.)
- Poetry (short poems, rhymes, or creative writing)
This is a fun and low-pressure opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and have their work displayed for the school community to enjoy during the carnival.
How to participate:
- Submit one piece per student in either category
- Include your child’s name and teacher on the back (for visual art) or at the top (for poetry)
- Turn in submissions by May 6 to Ms. Imani so we have time to prepare the display
All artwork and poems will be collected in advance and featured at the carnival taking place on May 8, from 5-8p.
Our goal is simple: celebrate creativity and give every child a chance to shine. Whether your child loves to draw, paint, or write, we’d love to include their work in this special showcase.
